If your work requires a computer, particularly a laptop, there’s a good chance that you sit around all day hunched over your keyboard in a posture that’s slowly killing you. You can try ditching your desk chair for a standing desk, but then you’ll learn that standing all day probably isn’t any better, unless you’re really into varicose veins. I realized that there probably wasn’t a universal solution to this orthopedic conundrum, so I decided to hack my workspace and figure out what’s best for me. The below video, which is filmed at Jellyvision, outlines some of the practical and impractical approaches I’ve taken to keyboard placement and orientation.
